There’s  no game to preview this weekend as Spurs sit out the fourth round of the FA Cup. Instead I have written an article on my special feelings for the cup and the important part it has played in Tottenham’s history. Key players return for Spurs

Younes Kaboul, Paulinho, Sandro and Jan Vertonghen all started in a win for Spurs’ reserve team last night and should be available for Wednesday’s game against Manchester City. Assuming they are fully fit this will create some interesting selection dilemmas for Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood.

Swansea 1 Spurs 3 – Spurs show cutting edge

Spurs visit Swansea

Spurs took three points from their visit to the Liberty Stadium and showed a cutting edge that has been missing much of the season.

Swansea started well, dominating possession and creating several chances. Our defense looked vulnerable to through balls, as it has all season. However it was a corner that nearly proved our undoing. Dawson clearly pushed Bony – it looked a definite penalty but the referee gave nothing.
