Should Chelsea be allowed to loan out 28 players?
Loans are a useful addition to the transfer system. They allow promising young players to gain experience. They help rejuvenate footballers stagnating at the wrong club. They enable cash strapped teams to add extra players without paying exorbitant transfer fees.
Unfortunately this system is being abused.
StubHub – an opportunity missed
I recently became aware of a new website that enables you to buy and sell unused season tickets for particular Spurs’ games. This service is provided by Stub Hub, an Ebay subsidiary that is endorsed by the club itself.
