Swansea Spurs Preview – why 442 would be a mistake

Thoughts on Spurs vs Liverpool
This was the third match I have attended this season. The other two were losses to Chelsea and Wigan, and I was beginning to think I was a bad luck charm. Thankfully I have finally seen Spurs get some points.

The Problem With Gareth Bale
One of the things that our match against Arsenal demonstrated was the good and bad sides of Gareth Bale. On the positive side he was one of our most dangerous players, even after Adebayor was sent off and the game had swung in Arsenal’s favour, Bale was still causing problems and giving us some small hope of an unlikely comeback. He scored the second goal and if he had just slid the ball across to Defoe when through shortly afterwards we could have got the third goal which would have really tested Arsenal’s nerve.

Spurs 0 Wigan 1
I don’t have a season ticket and tickets are fairly hard to come by at White Hart Lane so I don’t go to that many games. However, this year I am making a concerted effort to go more often and this was my second game of the season.
