After a long gap, the blog’s back with some quick thoughts on our most convincing win of the season.
In my previous blog post, “Spurs Shopping List”, I outlined a list of transfer targets that I felt were necessary to stregthen our squad and make a concerted challenge for Champions’ League football. So now the window has closed, how did we do?
So the transfer window has opened and the rumour mill is in full effect. Spurs are sitting high up the table and challenging for a Champions League spot, but who do we need to bring in to push on and guarantee a top four finish?
The game against Everton sums up all that has been wrong with Spurs this season. We play well in fits and starts but not for a whole ninety minutes. More specifically we normally start well and we usually finish badly.
This was another great victory against a tough, London opponent. We now have three wins in a row and are finally putting teams away. Here are some points raised by the game:
